Write On Review-A-Thon 93 (October 29-31, 2021)

My how time flies, especially when you’re stuck in procrastination mode. *sigh* I knew it had been a while since I took part in the last Write On Review-a-thon  but imagine my shock when I realized it had been a year. AN ENTIRE YEAR! That’s totally unacceptable. TOTALLY! Ironically, the month of October has been a pretty productive month for me as far as review writing goes. However, I realized that while I was keeping up with my ARC reviews very nicely, I had kinda neglected my pure pleasure reads, which again, is totally unacceptable. For that reason, I decided I needed an extra boost and what better way to boost myself than to hold myself publicly accountable for my progress. Hopefully, this month’s Write On Review-a-thon will be just the thing to keep me on track.

So.. what am I planning on reviewing? EVERYTHING! Because I have WAY too many reviews to list, I’m going to be listing only my outstanding ARC reviews as of right now. The additions to the list will be anything below the horizontal line – and trust me, there should be quite a few. I’ll be listing them and crossing them off as they’re written. I’ll keep this post pinned to the top of my blog so everyone can keep track of my progress 😉

Well will you look at this! It’s almost the end of another month, which means it’s time for another Write On Review-a-thon  and I’m not that far behind. Wonders never cease! I do have a couple of reviews to write – and I’m also pretty sure that there will be at least a couple of books added to the list, but I’m kinda proud of this new trend. 😉

I’m trying really hard to devote time to my long neglected physical book pile (which has resulted in the maybe not so unexpected purchase of even more physical books as I HAVE to continue a series once I begin – right?) For once, I’m kinda, sorta caught up! I still have quite a few books that I read on a whim, but I’m slowly, but surely making progress. AND I only have a couple of review books that I need to review, so this month’s Write On Review-a-thon is more to keep me on track that to get me caught up. 😉

I’m currently playing a serious game of “review catch-up” so this month’s review-a-thon couldn’t have come at a better time. This week I received a pre-ordered book that I can’t wait to read, so I promised myself that I’d review my back list of books before I downloaded and read it. I didn’t, however, promise myself that I wouldn’t continue reading other books, so here we are… again…

July’s Review-a-thon was a huge success! Now on to August and since it’s a Bout-of-Books weekend, you’d think that I’d be buried under reviews, but that’s not the case.
