Sin Undone (Demonica #6) by Larissa Ione

SinUndoneHER TOUCH IS DEADLY
As the only female Seminus demon ever born, master assassin Sinead Donnelly is used to being treated like an outcast. She spent decades enslaved, and now vows she’ll die before she’ll relinquish her freedom again. Then Sin’s innate ability to kill her enemies goes awry: She creates a lethal new werewolf virus that sparks a firestorm of panic and violence.
HIS HUNGER CAN’T BE DENIED
Half-werewolf, half-vampire Conall Dearghul is charged with bringing in Sin to face punishment for the plague. And she’s no stranger: He’s bound to her by blood, and the one sexual encounter they shared has left him hungering for her raw sensuality. Worse, Sin is the underworld’s most wanted and Con soon learns he’s the only one who can help her . . . and that saving her life might mean sacrificing his own.

Finally! I’m all caught up with the Demonica series. Now that I’m done, it’s time to start over. Even though it’s possible to read the Demonica series and the Lords of Deliverance series separately, I learned by switching the reading order, you gain a lot more by reading them the ‘correct’ way. 😉 Yep, this is most definitely another ‘do as I say, not as I do’ moment.

Unconventional reading order aside, I loved Sin and Conall’s story. Logically, their romance made absolutely no sense, but fate had other plans. Sin was crushed by the pain she had caused, but Conall only saw her as the enemy, which made his connection to her even more troubling to him. It took him a while, but once Sin started to let her walls down a little and Connal got to see the vulnerable side of her, their connection became something different and even more intense. I love it when an author makes the seemingly impossible totally inevitable.

Even though this was Sin and Conall’s story, the rest of the UG crew were a strong presence in Sin Undone. New characters were also introduced, which was kind of fun because of course, I already knew what was in store for them. That doesn’t mean that I’m still not going to enjoy continuing… or repeating my reading through the Lords of Deliverance 😉
